While many of our guests have been college or university presidents, we wanted to provide our listeners the perspectives of a university Board Chair. The time and emotional investment of these individuals often goes unnoticed and certainly underappreciated by the University's constituents. In this series, we will occasionally feature one of the outstanding Chairs we have encountered to share her/his perspectives on university oversight.
Today, we have the pleasure of visiting with Thad Westbrook, Board Chair at the University of South Carolina. When not tending to his oversight responsibilities, Thad practices law with the Nelson Mullins firm in Columbia. He is both an undergraduate and law school graduate of the University and has chaired the University's most recent President search.
We are delighted that he has agreed to talk with us today.
